DOES PEOPLE'S BEHAVIOUR IS READY TO ADOPT E-VEHICLES?

Over the last few days, there have been at least four reported incidents of two-wheeler electric vehicles made by the likes of Ola, Okinawa and Pure E-Vehicles Abruptly bursting into flames, bringing to the fore safety issues related to such vehicles, especially the batteries that power them From electric cars to smartphones to laptops, lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries are the most popular battery type today, powering millions of consumer electronics around the world & Governments all over the world giving incentives to rapidly achieve Nationally determined contributions but they should also think that does people’s behaviour ready to adopt this technological change & its working.
Importance of People's behaviour in handling E-vehicles?
E-vehicles are different from the regular vehicles that we are using now. E-vehicles need more supplement infrastructure & caution of human beings for their sustainability. example Okinawa said that from its preliminary observations, based on "credible sources, the media and local authorities", the fire in its scooter was a result of short-circuiting due to "negligence in charging the vehicle".
However, these examples also serve as a cautious reminder of the consequences of faults done by human nature .so People should know how to use them so for that purpose government should release Standard operating Procedures to its citizens on how to use e-vehicles and govt also should release risk reduction directives to mitigate risk
Not only SOP but also technical knowledge about E-vehicles is most important for its ecosystem (peoples & mechanics) and it should reach the bottom line of society, so what kind of technicality is involved in this battery.
How lithium-ion battery works?
A Li-ion battery consists of an anode, cathode, separator, electrolyte, and two current collectors. The anode and cathode are where the lithium is stored, while the electrolyte carries positively charged lithium ions from the anode to the cathode and vice versa through the separator. The movement of the lithium ions creates free electrons in the anode, which creates a charge at the positive current collector. So it has1) The key things that make a Li-ion battery better than other kinds, and more suited for things like electric cars and smartphones are its lightweight, high energy density, and ability to recharge.
2)Apart from this, Li-ion batteries also typically have a longer lifespan compared to lead-acid batteries. However, one of the biggest benefits of Li-ion batteries it's high energy density - which can also be a potential reason behind the battery's undoing.
But According to a blog post by two-wheel EV maker Ather Energy, Li-ion batteries' high energy density means these cells can become unstable in certain conditions, hampering functionality. They work best within a safe operating limit. A battery management system (BMS) is applied to a Li-ion battery to make sure they operate safely.
BMS is an electronic system that is connected to all the cells in a Li-ion battery pack, which constantly measures their voltage and the current flowing through it. providing it information on temperatures at different sections of the battery pack. All this data helps the BMS calculate other parameters of a battery pack, like the charging and discharging rate, battery life cycle, and efficiency.

This is the technicality which was involved in the Lithium-ion battery as technology was upgrading as per the requirements of society it throws challenges too. the lithium-ion battery is also one of its kind so there will be some kind challenges initially so govt & Industries manufacturing Li-ion batteries should work on it as an insurance for people got loss by this kind of accident .so e-vehicles are indeed needed to reduce carbon footprint so question safety depends upon the action done by people. so, it is very important to change people’s behaviour according to E-vehicle usage
